Lionfish Hunting Expedition
Hunt With The Locals!
Wasteless World nonprofit is located in Bocas del Toro, a province of Panama comprising an island chain off the Caribbean coast, plus a section of nearby mainland with biodiverse rainforest.
Isla Colón, the main island, is home to the capital, Bocas Town, a central hub with restaurants, shops and nightlife. Popular beaches include Boca del Drago. Also on Isla Colón is Starfish Beach, named for the numerous sea stars on its ocean floor.
And yes, they have a lionfish problem! We need divers to visit and help us save our reefs from these invasive fish. Join Wasteless World anytime for one of our Panama Lionfish Expeditions!
Indigenous Experience!
Experience Bocas del Toro with the locals as you help them save their reefs! Go to the reefs on a cayuco, a traditional indigenous boat and freedive with them to hunt lionfish.
Or if you would rather scuba dive you can connect with the local dive shop. All the packages are available for experiencing lionfish hunting in a beautiful environment.
Wasteless World is a nonprofit that have been helping these beautiful waters and free of the lionfish, along with plastics. Join them on their mission and help these reefs repopulate with the reef fish that have been effected. This is more than just a vacation!
