Lionfish Hunting Expedition
Great Options for 2023!
Tobacco Caye Marine Station is a research and study abroad center. We host students from around the world and teach them about our incredible ocean. One of our key research projects is studying the invasive lionfish here in Belize. In the past 3 years we have culled over 2000. For our research we weigh, measure, identify gender and dissect every single one of them. By joining our lionfish expedition you will not only be hunting an invader but also contributing to our research.
