Lionfish are one of the most fascinating and beautiful creatures in the ocean, but they’re also one of the most destructive. This invasive species have no natural predators in the Atlantic and Caribbean, they are devouring native fish and destroying the delicate balance of our coral reefs. This knowledge is the fuel behind the efforts being made by myself and other divers worldwide who are doing what they can to save the ocean, one lionfish at a time! The Salty Locs crew focuses their lionfish removal efforts mostly in the areas of the US Virgin Islands as well as South Florida.
